Different Ways of Making Money from Home

June 4th, 2010
You're here because you are interested in making money from home. The first things you probably want to know is what is real, and which can make you money, and who is set up just to make money from you.

Surveys - are a good way to earn spare change. Be careful of services that require fees to join the online survey because this is them making money off you. The services charging for this information may have started out sincere but as more have jumped on board they have become interested mostly in the sign-up and less on your ability to earn money. The surveys themselves have to be qualified to prevent fake input before they payout and have been known to not qualify participants who actually input real input. So payout is subjective and you can expect to do lots of surveys and only a percentage will pay out. This is why we state that you can earn spare change for the online surveys.

Blogs and Articles - although these are two different areas of income they share the same techniques on revenues, both being a social environments sharing user input on specific subject matter. You should be aware that the writing itself isn't the value. Some sites may
pay for authors to write but that isn't where the popular revenue is generated. Hyperlinks and subliminal marketing tactics are the bread and butter of this industry. When creatively writing by adding a blurb about a marketable paying advertiser allows you post to generate revenue. If you are doing it for you own website it would be a way to generate traffic. Converting traffic into revenue is gold. You will find these tactics one this page as hyperlinks. The most popular way to find such advertisers is through affiliates.                 Freelance writers

Affiliates - Are programs that offer several ways to produce income and allow several methods to present their product. Make sure you read their guidelines and restriction to each or you could be doing something for nothing. They allow presentation of their clients in website banners, blogs and affiliate content, non-spam emails, and links. The payout methods could be pay per click, tier level payout, which are pay by lead or pay by sale or pay by some other arranged tier of payout. What ever you may choose in making money online it will probably involve some
affiliate system. These programs are key in making money online and the only real challenge is finding a product that is popular and a program that pays well.

Google Adsense -
Google's ADSENSE advertising affiliates pay on a pay per click basis and Google provides those who join its adsense program the opportunity to place these ads on your site. Rules must be followed and payout per click is in change, but it is very beneficial in traffic oriented sites because pennies turn into dollars. A lot of do nothing site use some sort of pay per click system to generate revenue because the visitor has no reason to stay but is directed or misdirected by a lead to a site they may have and interest in. Yahoo and several other websites offer this type of service now, so you are not limited to Google.com.

Expired Domains - There can be good money in finding the right expired domain, a bit like shopping for antiques though because there a lot of misleading fakes, junk domains, and high price tags on the obvious vintage. Obvious being a key term to avoid so using keyword popularity that would be less likely would the direction to search. The big domain carriers like
GoDaddy.com have systems to determine the popularity of domains it has access to and will price them accordingly. We prefer using them as my domain provider for the accessibility they have.

Craigslist.org - It seems they are the top classified marketing tool on the web because the primarily offer free listings. Where
Craigslist.org becomes valuable is the usefulness it has in getting rid of junk around the house. It also is in the public eye by following the rules you can direct this public traffic to your email which in return can auto respond your ads. May companies use this site to collect emails by luring the public to a job position or money making scheme. Bottom line is the traffic generated here has some usefulness.

Ebay.com - Another way to get rid of junk but this is by way of auction.
Ebay.com charges when items sell which is the most acceptable way to pay for such a service. It has the high traffic volume to potentially get the public to see your products. Many have started a service to sell stuff for people in their neighborhood, family or friends and made a small business by doing so. Everybody has extra stuff they should get rid of and having a resource to get rid of it helps. Downside is dealing with shipping.

Facebook.com - The latest fastest growing social site has developed traffic and popularity. It provides a connection not only for individual but businesses to socialize with the general public. Utilizing the resource to offer what ever it is you choose to make money doing, whether it be affiliates, selling your own product or adsense, it can all be utilize through
Facebook.com.

Many of us are looking for legitimate jobs we can do from home, and nothing feels more legitimate than producing a product.  What you want to watch for is the scam operations that simply take your money and leave you feeling abused and never wanting to try anything like this again.  So in order to prevent this you should check on the reputation of the service you want to apply and to do this you check with the better business bureau and then follow up by checking a website called ripoffreport.com, also you should you should also check the Federal Trade Commission’s website.

Avoid companies that want money up front or money for product inventory.  A legitimate business would not use such tactics to find real assemblers.  They wouldn’t need to if they received money from you they already sold the materials and really wouldn’t care if you finished your first piece.
